I struggled for years making a decision to put my lakefront property up for sale.  I’ve held on to it for so long that the dream of building a home and retiring up in Wisconsin turned out to be all but a dream.  So I finally came to the conclusion that I should put that dream behind me and I should sell this property.   Complicating factors that didn’t help is that I live in the Chicago Area and haven’t visited the property in years.

What was important to me is that I wanted to choose the right Realty company and the right people to represent me and my property and I set out to do my ‘due diligence’ in my selection process.  My ‘due diligence’ led me to Larson Realty.  Through the years of my ownership of the property I was impressed by the marketing materials that I’ve been receiving from Larson.  They have a top-notch newsletter that kept me informed through the years about the area.  I was really impressed by their stellar website as well.  It is professionally laid out and very informative and the photography of the properties they represent really convinced me that I should place them at the top of my consideration list.

So when I put in my call and talked to Eric Larson – he sealed the deal for me and I chose Larson Realty to sell my property.  He not only answered all my questions but he also brought up other considerations that I didn’t even think of asking.  I was sold on Larson Realty and made my relationship with them official.
My biggest misgiving was whether I could effectively sell the property from a long distance.  Eric assured me that he would personally walk the property and make sure it was presentable for sale – and that he did.   I was particularly struck by the aerial photography of the property he took from a drone.  Before seeing the results of his pics – I never even envisioned my property like that before.  How cool!!!

Kay Nelson was assigned as my principle contact for the sale and I began my dialogue with her.   She was the perfect person to handle the process as she lives on the chain of lakes where my property is located.  She handled the whole process for me very professionally, kept me in the loop every step of the way and made the whole experience a painless pleasure.

Between Eric, Kay and myself – with their experience of the market for lakefront properties in the area – we collectively came up with the listing price.  It was based on a number of factors including recent comparable sales of like properties in the area.  From the moment the property was listed we had serious interested prospects and in a matter of days the property was sold.   And – the whole transaction was completed long distance - over the phone and the internet.   Talk about being convenient.  

Bottom line – the whole experience from the moment I made contact with Larson Realty until the closing with the title company – it was a wonderful experience working with highly professional people like Kay, Eric and Larson Realty.    I highly recommend Larson Realty to anyone considering selling or buying property up in their area.
